The hosts Leija Graf & Åke U:son Hellstedt are always there when you stay, as this castle is their private home. Guests are treated to personal care and attention, like special friends.

Backstory

As the founder of a luxury travel agency Leija travelled the globe visiting top luxury properties worldwide to create the ultimate collection of holiday experiences. After purchasing Skottorp Slott, her intimate understanding of luxury guided her in the decoration of the bedrooms at the castle to create glamour, authenticity and deep comfort. Åke Hellstedt grew up in a historical manor house, and Swedish history is a passion for him. He can entertain guests with fascinating stories of the castle and its inhabitants. His passion guided him in carrying out the renovations of the public areas with the advice of Swedish historical experts, to create authenticity hand in hand with regal beauty. He is also passionate about the activities guests can enjoy, from shooting clay pigeons to hiking and fly fishing.
